HYMDAS is a battery operated eight channel data logger designed especially for field instillations such as weather monitoring applications. Its time keeping system keeps track of real an elapsed time in "sleep" mode , at prespecified and programmed intervals, measures automatically the inputs connected to its channels and stores them in its battery backed up memory (NVRAM). The stored data can be transferred to a computer using the hand held data retrieval unit-ARU7.

HYMDAS is housed in cast aluminum weather proof box suitable for rugged outdoor applications.

The HYMDAS can measure directly from any eight of the following type of sensors:

In some applications temperatures are required to be measures at more then one point. In such a case some inputs can be removed from the list.
