Strain Gauge Signal Conditioners  AC 401, AI 401A, AI 401B

These general purpose signal conditioners serve to interface strain gauge based transducers such as load cell, pressure transducer, torque transducer etc. with recorders, Data Loggers, PC add-on ADC cards, PLCs etc..

They incorporate stable excitation source and low-noise high gain amplifiers to provide high level output proportional to the parameter being measured by the transducers.

AC 401 is in open PCB format and is suitable for OEMs of instrumentation systems.

AI 401A is the signal conditioner card enclosed in a panel mounting type of box. It requires a +/-15 V dual DC power supply. Zero and Span controls are located on its front panel and the input/ output terminals on its rear panel.

AI 401B is the signal conditioner enclosed in a panel mounting type of box, which also has mains operated power supply to make it a stand alone instrument. Zero and Span controls are located on its front panel and the input/ output terminals on its rear panel.
